Bio

Mirta Zaliauskas is an argentinian artist, with a vast career path.
She studied at Escuela de Bellas Artes Carlos Morel, where she got her degreee on Visual Arts and Sculpture Teaching.
She dedicates herself to sculpture in a diversity of materials, and also drawing; she has explored different techniques and experimented with many possibilities within art. She has worked as a teacher in public schools for 25 years.

In 1995 she travelled to Europe to study and worked there in different workshops, including Botero’s worshop in Carrara where she learned and worked in sculptures made of marble and bronze.
